Aid groups shift the climate debate from polar bears to people

Longtime environmentalist David Waskow remembers sparking some confusion among his green colleagues last year when he announced plans to work on climate change for the humanitarian aid group Oxfam America. "Many people looked at me quizzically with raised eyebrows," Waskow said. Not any more.
