D.C. looks to reduce traffic, improve air quality with new 2040 plan

Residents and many visitors to the nation's capital don't have to look far to see that delays and standstills are not just peculiar to Congress. The District of Columbia's roads are already clogged with vehicles. To address this issue, the District Department of Transportation is holding public workshops on a draft transportation plan aiming to improve the existing system, relieve congestion downtown core and connect outer neighborhoods
