Obama to ask Congress for help to end future oil use

President Obama will urge Congress today to approve a policy providing $2 billion for battery and transportation research meant to end the use of oil in the United States. Speaking this afternoon from the Energy Department's Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois, the president will make the case for using oil and gas drilling in federal waters to fund the Energy Security Trust for 10 years.
