Texas-based super PAC targets Ala.'s Bachus, incumbents across country

After spurring the ouster of Ohio Rep. Jean Schmidt (R) last week, a Texas-based super PAC is hoping to repeat its performance tomorrow in Alabama when House Financial Services Chairman Spencer Bachus seeks the GOP nomination in his 6th District seat. LLC, and Eric O'Keefe, known for advocating congressional term limits in the 1990s, has spent $156,000 on television ads, telephone calls, direct mail and email targeting Bachus in his bid for an 11th term.
