Utah's Rep. Bishop would 'jump' at opportunity to be Romney's lands chief
Rep. Rob Bishop (R-Utah) said this week he would gladly accept an invitation to be director of the Bureau of Land Management if Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney wins the election. Though he conceded such a scenario is unlikely, Bishop, who is currently chairman of the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands, said he would relish the opportunity to reshape the country's lands policy.
