Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.) took top prize in the Energy and Commerce Committee leadership sweepstakes yesterday. Murphy was among four senior Republicans on the committee who were said to be in the running to replace outgoing Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.) as chairman of the high-profile Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.
