1. NATURAL GAS:

New U.S. terminals sit idle as LNG sails to Europe, Asia

It's been a big year for the U.S. liquefied natural gas market. Three new LNG import terminals opened, construction started on three others, and expansions started on two existing facilities. Overall, total capacity doubled -- from 5.2 billion cubic feet to 10.7 billion cubic feet a day. But there is little business for the terminals. LNG is heading to Europe and Asia, where gas prices far exceed those offered in the United States. Go to story #1
