Interior study finds U.S. can store 'enormous amount' of CO2

The United States has the geological potential to store between 2,400 and 3,700 metric gigatons of carbon dioxide in underground formations, the U.S. Geological Study said in an "unprecedented assessment" released this morning and billed as complementary to President Obama's climate change strategy.
