New Green Revolution needed to address food crisis, experts say

UNITED NATIONS -- Only a second Green Revolution -- the midcentury push by governments and the private sector to dramatically boost agricultural yields worldwide -- will provide a long-term solution to the current global food crisis, organizers of a U.N. session here on African agriculture said today.
