Obama must halt shipping regs under E.U. carbon regime -- Sensenbrenner

A top House climate change skeptic today called on the White House to take pre-emptive action to keep the European Union from regulating greenhouse gas emissions from U.S. companies that ship goods to Europe. The comments by Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.) come after E.U. officials announced Monday that they would begin monitoring, reporting and verifying the carbon content of fuel used in shipping early in the new year.
