Govt. workers gave at least $627K to Obama campaign, watchdog group finds
Federal employees contributed at least $627,000 to help re-elect President Obama, placing the federal government as the fourth top contributing entity to the president's campaign, the Center for Responsive Politics has found. CRP added up contributions from individuals who listed the federal government as their employer in reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.
