Senate unlikely to tackle lands package in lame duck -- Bingaman
Senate Energy and Natural Resources Chairman Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.) today said it is unlikely the chamber will find time in the lame duck to consider a public lands package, dashing the hopes of many conservationists who just hours earlier urged members to pass wilderness bills by year's end.
