Heartland releases Gleick emails, denounces 'Fakegate Gang'

The Heartland Institute has said little about its strategy for pursuing charges against climate scientist Peter Gleick, who has admitted to lying about his identity in order to obtain internal documents from the right-leaning think tank. Instead, Heartland today released the emails Gleick sent to the organization between Jan. 27 and Feb. 10, in which he impersonated a board member and asked Heartland staff to forward him budget, tax and fundraising documents that he later released to the press.
