Internal emails show agency officials venting over Obama's letter to Boehner

Internal emails released today reveal frustration among U.S. EPA officials that the White House failed to coordinate with the agency when it issued a letter in August that discussed pending rules. In the letter from President Obama to House Speaker John Boehner, the president misstated EPA's cost estimate on the controversial Boiler MACT rule, including an old estimate of $3 billion rather than the finalized number of $1.4 billion.
