1. EPA:

U.S. Chamber thanks agency for transparency measure, resurrects sue and settle

The nation's largest business group today lobbed another volley at U.S. EPA for being too quick to negotiate settlement agreements with environmental litigants that result in rulemaking requirements. But the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in a letter to acting EPA Administrator Bob Perciasepe commended EPA for a new practice of posting on the agency's website notices of intent to sue filed by litigants.
