Lawsuit seeks release of McCarthy's smartphone bills

As the Senate nears a long-delayed vote on Gina McCarthy's nomination to head U.S. EPA, a free-market group filed a lawsuit today aimed at forcing the agency to release bills for McCarthy's smartphone. The Competitive Enterprise Institute has targeted EPA's electronic correspondence for months, over concerns that the agency is not following the Freedom of Information Act when it comes to emails, instant messages and texting.
