Asst. secretary nominee who led Blueways program resigns

A onetime nominee to become Interior assistant secretary who led the agency's river conservation efforts has resigned. Rebecca Wodder, the former CEO of American Rivers who was hired as a senior adviser to then-Interior Secretary Ken Salazar in early 2012 after Republicans scuttled her confirmation, left the agency in August, a House GOP aide said.
