Judge gives EPA 60 days to present timeline for rulemaking

A federal judge ordered U.S. EPA today to set a deadline within 60 days for completing regulations for the disposal of combustion waste from coal-burning power plants. Even though EPA is working on revising coal ash rules and developing new disposal standards, environmentalists sued last year to force the agency to speed up its process.
