RSS terms of use

RSS (really simple syndication) service is a means by which E&E Publishing offers feeds of story headlines in XML format (“RSS Content”) to visitors to publications and productions of E&E Publishing (the “E&E Site”) who use RSS aggregators. These Terms of Use govern your use of the RSS service. The use of the RSS service also is subject to the terms and conditions of your custom subscription agreement with E&E Publishing, or, in the absence of a custom agreement, E&E Publishing’s Terms of Use and copyright, a copy of which can be found here. These Terms of Use may be changed by E&E Publishing at any time without notice.

Use of RSS Feeds:
These RSS feeds from E&E Publishing are provided solely for the purpose of allowing individuals to view headlines from E&E’s publications and productions within newsreaders for their personal, noncommercial use. If you are not a subscriber to a publication of E&E Publishing, no other rights are granted to you. If you are a subscriber to a publication of E&E Publishing, then any additional rights you have with respect to content from publications of E&E Publishing are found in your custom subscription agreement. If you want to obtain greater rights to use these RSS feeds or to license content from E&E Publishing, please contact  Prabhu  Chandar at 202-628-6500, or email him at pchandar@eenews.net for more information.  You must use the RSS feeds as provided by E&E Publishing, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by E&E Publishing.

Link to Content Pages:
The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full article on the E&E Site. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to, or delivery of the applicable E&E Site Web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable E&E Site web page.

Ownership/Attribution:
E&E Publishing retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all E&E Publishing logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate E&E Publishing website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds. If you provide this attribution using a graphic, you must use the appropriate E&E Publishing Web site's logo that we have incorporated into the RSS feed.

Right to Discontinue Feeds:
E&E Publishing reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. E&E Publishing assumes no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS feeds or for your use of the RSS feeds in connection with your website.
