Former Energy Secretary Peña explains role of competitive markets in solving climate change (OnPoint, 07/27/2009)

As a former Secretary of Energy and Transportation, Federico Peña dealt with many of the issues the Obama administration is tackling during its first year: energy efficiency, transportation infrastructure and climate change. During today's OnPoint, Peña, now co-chairman of COMPETE, discusses the importance of competitive markets in solving the climate change issue. He talks about the consumer protection measures in the Waxman-Markey bill and discusses the economics of cap and trade.
