An increasing number of scientists say there is a connection between rising ocean temperatures and stronger hurricanes, with major studies on the subject published recently in journals such as Science and Nature. In today's OnPoint, Judith Curry, a professor at Georgia Tech's School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and the co-author of a recent study, explains some of her findings. Curry also addresses criticism of her research and the heavily politicized world of climate science. Plus, she claims that a recent hearing on global warming chaired by Sen.
