Could importing sugarcane ethanol from Brazil be one of the solutions to the United States' food-to-fuel issue? During today's OnPoint, Joel Velasco, chief U.S. representative for the Brazilian Sugar Cane Industry Association (UNICA) addresses the debate over the ethanol import tariff and explains why, he believes, removing the tariff could help bring food prices down. Velasco discusses the new farm bill proposal and the impact it could have on food and fuel prices, if implemented.
