With a big PR push from the natural gas industry, and a huge endorsement from oilman T. Boone Pickens, natural gas seems to be dominating recent headlines about fuel choice and reducing the U.S.'s oil dependency. Is natural gas here to stay? Can natural gas meet our energy needs? Will the public warm to the idea of driving natural gas vehicles? During today's OnPoint, Richard Kolodziej, president of NGVAmerica, the national trade association for natural gas vehicles, discusses some of the existing supply and price questions the natural gas industry faces. He makes the case for expanding offshore oil and gas drilling while continuing to support alternatives.
