Energy industry panel says push for cleaner energy sources, E85 is hurting, not helping
Instability in many oil-exporting regions is causing the energy industry and lawmakers to take a hard look at the energy security and overall energy policy of the United States. During today's E&ETV Event Coverage a panel of energy industry experts including The Mosaic Co.'s Fritz Corrigan and American Petroleum Institute's Edward Murphy discuss U.S. energy security at a recent U.S. Chamber of Commerce conference. Panelists discuss the benefits of increasing supplies through offshore drilling and talk about the pros and cons of hydrogen technology. They also address why they believe price-gouging legislation has an overall negative affect.
