Rechargeable battery trade group head talks viability, cost of hybrids and electric vehicles

With hybrids and electric vehicles making up only a small fraction of the U.S. car market, how will the automobile and electric drive industries overcome the public acceptance and cost issues associated with these technologies? During today's OnPoint, George Kerchner, executive director of the Portable Rechargeable Battery Association, discusses regulatory hurdles that need to be overcome in order to help make electric vehicles more viable.
