Senators gird for McCarthy hearing

The battle lines are clear ahead of U.S. EPA administrator nominee Gina McCarthy's confirmation hearing today. But that changed yesterday when Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky sent a statement to home-state reporters saying his pre-confirmation meeting with McCarthy had convinced him that she would "foster this administration's radical environmental and anti-coal jobs agenda."
