The full House Energy and Commerce Committee meets this week for what should be a lengthy and heated markup session on an energy bill. While Democratic committee leaders have essentially tried to put off consideration of controversial issues such as vehicle efficiency, alternative fuels mandates and coal-to-liquids until the fall, those items appear poised to resurface during the full committee markup this week.
