A bipartisan trio of senators attempted to boost President Obama's international negotiating credentials today by laying out a road map for comprehensive energy and climate legislation that echoes the administration's emission reduction targets. Sens. John Kerry (D-Mass.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) unveiled a framework roughly outlining their priorities for legislation that Democratic leaders have said will come to the floor next spring. The senators sent their framework to Obama, who is expected to travel to the international climate talks in Copenhagen, Denmark, next week.
