Do Okla. state scientists think quakes are linked to oil? It's hard to say
In February 2014, the scientists at the Oklahoma Geological Survey had some reassurance, of a sort, for people in Guthrie, Okla. They'd been jolted by a series of small but unusually strong earthquakes. The survey said the quakes, at least most of them, were natural, not linked to oil and gas production.
