Researchers have found that the massive flooding from Houston's 2017 Hurricane Harvey introduced polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), a cancer-causing pollutant, to the majority Hispanic, lower-income Manchester, Texas, community from surrounding heavy industry, adding to the public health woes of the already-contaminated community.
