Deep cuts proposed for Interior and EPA ahead of tomorrow's House subcommittee vote

Federal environmental and natural resources programs would see their budgets slashed significantly under the House's fiscal 2014 Interior, Environment and Related Agencies spending bill, released this morning. The bill would provide $24.3 billion for the Interior Department, U.S. EPA and the Forest Service -- a cut of $4 billion compared with current levels even after sequestration took effect in March.
