Republicans block Obama pick for influential D.C. Circuit

Senate Republicans today blocked President Obama's nominee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. The vote is the latest in a string from Republicans preventing Obama from confirming his picks for the D.C. Circuit, which hears challenges to U.S. EPA's and other agencies' regulations.
