Enviros take the electoral fight to voters' doorsteps

LITTLETON, Colo. -- Canvasser Louis Dixon estimates he has turned out at least 100 votes for the League of Conservation Voters since he started knocking on a doors a few weeks ago, but today he won't be adding to that total. He's at the end of a daylong shift in which his goal is to track down so-called drop-off voters in this suburban neighborhood south of Denver -- those voters who cast ballots in 2012 but not in the midterm election in 2010 -- and it's not going well.
