Sally Jewell on new job: 'I actually threw my hat in the ring'

Former Interior Secretary Sally Jewell volunteered for the job of guiding the Nature Conservancy in the aftermath of a sexual harassment and misconduct investigation that has rocked the environmental nonprofit. "The Nature Conservancy has obviously been struggling of late with its culture," Jewell told E&E News in an interview yesterday. "From my perspective, what was clear is this is an organization that deserves to survive long-term."
