Spooky BLM town lives in state of 'arrested decay'

GARNET GHOST TOWN, Mont. — Follow an 11-mile road that winds into the mountains here, and it ends at an ideal backdrop for a ghost story: a long-abandoned mining town preserved in a permanent state of decay. It's one of a handful of ghost towns overseen by the Bureau of Land Management.
