EPA delays decision on expanded use of E15

The Obama administration said today it has delayed until next year its decision on whether to allow higher ethanol blends in gasoline for older cars. U.S. EPA was expected to decide next month whether to allow more ethanol to be blended in gasoline for vehicles from model years 2001-2006, but the agency delayed the decision on the blend of 15 percent ethanol and unleaded gasoline, or E15, because of incomplete vehicle tests.
