Obama, GOP spar over energy policy, budget stalemate

Appearing at a Pennsylvania wind turbine production facility built on the grounds of a shuttered steel plant, President Obama today talked about his vision for the future of American energy while deriding the budget stalemate on Capitol Hill. Obama said a sustained commitment to education and research and development will move the United States over time to a more stable energy footing built on greater efficiency and increasing use of low-carbon forms of electricity.
