Ex-EPA regional chief joins Sierra Club's coal campaign

The former U.S. EPA regional administrator who famously compared his enforcement philosophy for fossil energy developers to ancient Romans' use of crucifixion to crush political uprisings has joined Sierra Club's anti-coal campaign. Al Armendariz will take over leadership of the group's "Beyond Coal" campaign office for Austin, Texas, on July 15.
