EPA report outlines development impacts, options for reducing damage

U.S. EPA today released its most comprehensive report to date on how development is affecting the environment and public health. It updates a 2001 report on the same topic and lays out how different types of land use and transportation strategies affect the environment and human health. The report also describes approaches for reducing the effects.
