'Banner day' for Pruitt as he signs 'secret science' proposal

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt signed off this afternoon on an intended overhaul of his agency's handling of scientific data used in crafting regulations, a step that he said would improve transparency and which critics swiftly denounced as an attempt to curtail the use of legitimate research.
