Miranda writes about energy policy, the power grid and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Her reporting has documented the regulatory barriers stifling clean energy, the effects of oil and gas projects on communities and the politics at FERC. She graduated from Tufts University in 2017 with a degree in environmental studies and urban planning and has previously worked as a local reporter in Las Vegas and Massachusetts.
