Niina H. Farah

Niina covers energy law, including lawsuits challenging pipelines, eminent domain, oil and gas leasing and federal regulations. Niina first joined E&E News in June 2014, covering climate effects on agriculture and fisheries. She has also covered EPA climate policy, and federal regulations more broadly, under the Obama and Trump administrations. Niina has dual bachelor’s degrees in animal science and journalism from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
