BuRec Commissioner Keys looks to end Western water wars, talks Klamath River

After a 2001 standoff pitted farmers, environmental groups and federal agencies against one other in the Klamath River Basin, the Bureau of Reclamation has tried to balance competing needs for water in the West. During today's OnPoint, BuRec Commissioner John Keys discusses the lessons learned from Klamath and how the agency is trying to prevent future water conflicts related to the Colorado and Snake rivers.
