Alaska Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan is giddy at the prospect of his state getting what he think it deserves in the Republican megabill.
Text from the Energy and Natural Resources Committee would boost revenue-sharing requirements with the state to 90 percent for almost all of the new oil and gas provisions in the bill.
“If we can land a lot of what’s in the ENR bill, it’s gonna be really good,” he said in an interview Tuesday.
But even if his party’s tax, energy and border security budget reconciliation bill passes, his state will have to wait a while to reap those benefits.
