President Donald Trump is choosing plastic over paper.
“I will be signing an Executive Order next week ending the ridiculous Biden push for Paper Straws, which don’t work. BACK TO PLASTIC!” Trump posted to Truth Social Friday morning.
The White House did not respond to questions on what else the executive order might include or when it might be released.
Plastics trade groups are already celebrating.
