President Joe Biden on Thursday highlighted his record on climate policy, including the passage of a massive law to incentivize clean energy.

“I wrote and signed the law, the Inflation Reduction Act, the most significant climate law ever, anywhere in the history of the world,” Biden said during remarks at the Economic Club of Washington, D.C.

“When I say I wrote, I actually did write some, as my daughter would say, with my own paw,” Biden added.

The president did not elaborate on which part of the sweeping law he penned, and the White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
