The Senate voted Thursday to overturn the Biden administration’s efficiency rule for certain water heaters, sending it to President Donald Trump’s desk for his approval.

It’s the fourth environmental regulation from President Joe Biden that both chambers of Congress have voted to block as part of Republicans’ drive to overturn Biden rules under the Congressional Review Act.

The regulation at issue, made final in December by the Department of Energy, pertains to tankless natural gas water heaters, which are usually more efficient than traditional heaters that use tanks.
