David Rivkin, a Washington attorney who worked for Republican presidents and argued in prominent environmental cases, died in December. He was 68.
Rivkin died on Dec. 27 after a prolonged illness, according to an obituary published online by the DeVol Funeral Home. His law firm, BakerHostetler, confirmed Rivkin’s death in a statement on its website.
“We mourn the passing of our longtime partner and friend David Rivkin,” said BakerHostetler Chair Paul Schmidt. “He was one of the nation’s foremost appellate lawyers and constitutional scholars.”
