The former Interior secretary could announce her expected campaign to become New Mexico’s next governor.

Former Interior Secretary Deb Haaland’s campaign for New Mexico’s governorship may kick off as soon as Tuesday.
In short videos posted on social media platforms X, Facebook and Instagram, Haaland shared brief messages and directed viewers to anticipate a Tuesday announcement.
“Are you ready, New Mexico?” Haaland said in one of the three videos.
“We must be fierce,” she said in another.
