The House on Wednesday approved two more resolutions targeting rules issued during the waning days of the Biden administration.

The action was part of a broader effort in both chambers to undo several regulations through the Congressional Review Act. The law gives Congress the power to kill recent rulemakings by simple majority.

The House voted 216-202 on H.J. Res 61, from Rep. Morgan Griffth (R-Va.), against the Biden EPA’s updated air pollution standards for tire manufacturers.
